Barques are medium-sized three-masted ships. These fore-and-aft-rigged vessels are somewhat larger and more seaworthy than their cousins, making them better-suited for the dangerous Atlantic crossing.
Though fairly maneuverable, Ocean Barques are neither particularly fast nor powerful. They do not appear in any royal navies, and few pirates willingly set sail in them.
